Ruth, my niece, is getting married in September. She has asked Sarah to be her Chief Bridesmaid, a honour that has really really thrilled Sarah, understandably. So today we went shopping for bridesmaid dresses. Val, Ruth, Sarah, me, and the two other bridesmaids. It was a long day because we had to drive to Trowbridge, pick up Val and one of the bridesmaids, drive to Bristol park and ride, meet Ruth and other bridesmaid, bus into Bristol, all before we started shopping. This was the only time I made any demands - Costa coffee before any shopping :)
It was a good day, the girls tried quite a few dresses, we ended in the shop we started in, but not with the first dress. Lovely dresses though

It took us an hour to get out of Bristol though, then back to Trowbridge, and home, 11 hours after we started - tired, tired, tired, but a good day
