Its my own fault - I had focused so much on getting a new job I'd forgotten that there'd be an inbetween bit, a long inbetween bit :S I'm contracted to 3 months notice although I've asked if they would release me slightly early (end of Dec) but worst case scenario has my last day as jan 18th. And of course, I want to go sooner. Strangely enough I'm not quite ready to go now (not likely anyway) but I would like the clean break of the end of the year. I have leave between Christmas and New Year so it would be a natural break too - but there's nothing I can do but wait whilst they decide and then put up with it best I can.
